The founder partners of Pérez Castellanos attended the opening of the exhibition of painter Jorge Rando at Victor i Fills Art Gallery in Madrid.

This exhibition is an advance of the future Jorge Rando Museum in the city of Málaga, a project led by the Town Hall and supported by the Local Governments and Malaga University.

Born in Málaga, Jorge Rando is profoundly attached to Germany, where he settled in his twenties after he finished his degree in Philosophy. Rando is considered a reference of neo expressionism, his work has been shown at distinguished venues such as the Carlos de Amberes Foundation in Madrid, Palacio Episcopal of Malaga, P. Gerdsen Magnus Gallery (Hamburg), The Gabarron Foundation, Carriage House Center for the Arts (New York ) and itinerant exhibitions in the towns of Iserlohn, Witten, Hamburg, Hannover, Cologne and Berlin.

In 2006 he received the Antiquaria Foundation Award for his contribution to expressionism in Spain, and the Contemporary Art Award from Tertulia Ilustrada in Madrid. In 2007 Rando received Art Award from Alvaro Mutis Foundation and the Golden Book of Plastic Arts from Unesco (Paris). The same year the National Library of Spain acquires drawings from the artist for his collection. In 2011 he received the Persephone Award of the arts from the Club de Medios.
